Couper -et- Coudre specialises in handcrafted accessories ~ goods to adorn your precious body. Every item is consciously handcrafted using only natural and sustainable materials that have been carefully sourced.

Couper -et- Coudre comes from the French verbs meaning 'to cut' & 'to sew'. The company was founded by Fleurie Thomas in 2017.

After studying Textile Design at Central Saint Martins and working in the Interiors industry for a number of years, she decided to mix the study of materials, space and shapes to make designs for people who are looking for well made products that get better with age and looking for special pieces to use for many years to come.

What started as a vegetable tanned leather studio making bags and small goods has now grown into a jewellery studio alongside.

Only vegetable tanned leather and Organic materials are used to create all Couper et Coudre leather accessories. Vegetable tanned leather is tanned with tree barks and leaves. No toxic chemicals are used in the tanning process and the leather is bio-degradable at the end of it's long life. Every hide is unique which means every bag or accessory will be one of a kind and will age beautifully and gather tales of a life well lived.

Our new jewellery collection is handcrafted using semi-precious stones and 14ct gold filled hoops, toggles and hooks.

Every accessory is handmade by Fleur and a small team in Somerset, England, making sure every customer receives an item that has been lovingly handmade from start to finish.
