Our name Couper -et- Coudre comes from the French verbs meaning 'to cut' & 'to sew' and gives a nod to our handcrafted philosophy. A desire to work in a sustainable way and create items that are well made and will stand the test of time.
With a belief that our environment has the power shift our mood and when created mindfully can increase feelings of well-being, we believe in surrounding ourselves with pieces we love and that 'beautiful objects with a purpose' can elevate our everyday. The most cherished things we own all have a good story and great craftsmanship behind them.
